Culpeper County Historic Marker Program

The Museum of Culpeper History’s historic marker program grew out of a desire to recognize places, events, and individuals of local significance to Culpeper County’s history and culture.  With the support of a generous grant from the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors and other donors, museum staff and volunteers identified, researched, and designed the first four markers in the series in 2023.

A QR code located on each marker links to these pages.  Images, maps, and other documents found here provide additional information on the subject of each marker.
