A Taste of History
Join us for a traditional Revolutionary War era dinner to benefit the Museum of Culpeper History. Co-hosted by Mountain Run Winery on the evening of Friday, June 5 at 6 PM!
This unique experience will feature a hearty meal inspired by traditional Revolutionary War encampment dishes prepared by Deli-icious, period 18th-century tavern music performed by Colonial Faire, and a lively presentation on colonial dining by guest speaker Jennifer Hurst-Wender. Seating will be tavern-style to complete the atmosphere!
The evening’s menu includes:
MAIN COURSE
Hearty Stew and a side of Homemade Cornbread
A one-pot, slow-cooked meal featuring chunks of beef, potatoes, and root vegetables.
A vegetarian option is available. Please make your selection at checkout.
DESSERT COURSE
Warm Apple Cobbler
Served with traditional colonial teas.
One drink from Mountain Run Winery is included with dinner. Additional beverages available for purchase.

6:30 – Dinner and Dessert
Period music by live musicians Colonial Faire during cocktails and dinner
