Fly a Kite for Freedom

Kite flying was a popular pastime for children of all ages during the Revolutionary period.

Join the Museum for an afternoon of kite flying fun at Mountain Run Winery on Sunday, March 22, from 12:00 (noon) – 3:00 pm as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary.

Bring your kids, kites, and lawn chairs.

$10/car CASH ONLY!

Don’t have a kite, don’t worry, there will be a limited number of patriotic kites for sale.

There will also be hot dogs, sodas, wine, beer, and hard cider for sale.
